and then she fell asleep and this momma was in heaven. I can't hold Lillian for the next few weeks, but I have been letting her sit on the end of the recliner. My heart hurts a little bit when I can't love on her but today she napped on me and I could enjoy her since she was not moving.
Aunt Milly took Lillian to see her first movie in the theater. They went to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D. Aunts are so much fun.
I had surgery on Wednesday and boy has it been an interesting few days. My sister is here for two and a half weeks to basically be "Kate." She is such a blessing to us. Emily lives in Dallas and has zero children...she has stepped right into carpool, packing lunches, tae kwon do, errands, haircuts, schedules, play dates, grocery shopping, potty training, remembering show and tell items, helping me shower and thank goodness she is a nurse!!!! We really enjoy having her around and it is kind of like a long sleepover. Joe is a good sport. I am one lucky sister.
Lillian is all dressed and ready to go outside with the big kids. Thanks for the snow boots, Nona. I was worried we weren't going to get a chance to use them!

If you have not tried these, you need to rush to Trader Joe's immediately. They are awesome. Gelato with chocolate flakes. Perfect combined with Downton Abbey on Netflix.
My Goddaughter Claire came over a few Friday's ago for some Aunt Kate time. After the third time she spontaneously told me she loved me, I declared she was in the will! She is such a sweet pea.
We went and picked the kids up from school and Lillian was so happy to show Claire around.
